Record of deportation
'People started to disappear, they were taken away.'*
This album records the events of 14 June 1941. On this single day, 10 000 Estonians were deported in locked freight cars and sent to forced labour camps in Russia. Few survived. Notice the document on the bottom right which describes Estonians as living goods.
