Above – Hawkesbury Regional Museum at Windsor
This project is a partnership between the NSW Migration Heritage Centre and Hawkesbury Regional Museum to research, present and interpret the history of migration in the evolution of farming and market gardens of the Windsor area from 1790 to present.
The project will culminate in an exhibition and an associated exhibition booklet at the Hawkesbury Regional Museum and a MHC web exhibition in 2013-14.
The project will draw from Hawkesbury Regional Museum and Library’s primary and secondary resources and collections and local private collections, farm site analysis and oral histories.
The project will also provide the NSW Migration Heritage Centre with documentation to create a website-based exhibition and online material.
The project will also assist the Hawkesbury Regional Museum with the documentation of its Collection through object research, documentation and statements of significance.
