A description of our life in Wollongong.

Hello! My name is Hoang Yen Nhi. This year I am 9 years old. I am studying Vietnamese in a school in Warrawong.

I was born in Vietnam. I came to Australia when I was only one year old. My family lives in Figtree.

There are 6 people in my family: Dad, Mum, my younger brother called Kiet, my younger sisters Linh and Thy and me. My dad works hard to look after all of us. My mother stays at home, takes care of little Thy and cooks. She is a very good mother. She takes everything upon herself.

We try our best to study hard so that our parents are pleased.

There are 3 bedrooms in my place. One is for our parents and little Thy, one for Kiet and one for Linh and me. We have a lounge room, a kitchen, a bathroom and 2 toilets.

My mother’s best dish is caramelised pork ribs.

My dad grows a lot of vegetables in our backyard.

It is getting dark now, I have to go to bed. Bye
