Apron woven 1940, Slatino, Ohrid
Lent by Stojanka Stepanoska
Stojanka wore this apron until she migrated to the Illawarra in 1970. Made in the 1940s by her mother, it has intense blocks of yellow, black and brown. This central clash of stripes and colours is characteristic of aprons from the region.
