Apron woven 1965, Trebenista, Ohrid

Kostadinka wove this apron in three days to wear to formal occasions in the village of Trebenista. The design of this apron with a white background and brightly coloured vertical stipes is typical of aprons worn in the 1950s and '60s in this area.

Height: 58.5 cm, width: 64 cm, loom width: 30.5 cm; Cotton warp, cotton and woollen weft.
