Apron woven 1968, Meseista, Ohrid

Angelina wove between 50 and 60 aprons in preparation for marriage. After she had completed the process of spinning and dyeing the wool it would take her two days to weave one apron. She made this apron in 1968 to be worn for Easter celebrations and dancing.

Height: 57.5 cm, width: 56.5 cm, loom width: 29.5 cm; Cotton warp, cotton and woollen weft.
