Apron woven 1990, Mislesevo, Struga
Lent by Radmila Karamacoska
Radmila's mother had this apron made for her to wear the day after her wedding. Making and wearing aprons was becoming a fading tradition in village life at this time and Radmila wore a white dress for her marriage ceremony. Her mother gave her the apron to pass the tradition onto a younger generation of women.
